Harbor Light
This lighthouse guards the entrance to Edgartown Harbor Martha's Vineyard, was built many years ago, but I can remember its predecessor which, while in the same location, was then about 200 yards from shore. A long pier ran out from the land to connect it. I think that it was replaced in the late 1920's, early 1930's. Note how the sand grew out from the shore out past the lighthouse, creating a salt pond behind it. Island shores are always changing.
